A little over a week ago, NASA felt the urge to inform people from all over the globe that the world will not end come December 21. The paranoia and conspiracy theories propelled themselves to such an outrageous level of lunacy that people have begun to question whether or not the world will end. Let me tell you something folks: The world was here long before little old you came along. It will be here years after little old you has departed and moved on to the next life.
There may in fact be a direct correlation between the people who sincerely believe the world is going to end December 21, 2012 and the people who are hoping the world ends. In most cases, their lives are not progressing in a certain fashion and they have no plan or intent to make changes. Unfortunately for the folks who fit that description, barring a coincidental freak accident or suicide of course, the odds are in favor of you waking up on the morning of December 22, 2012, and you will probably say something along the lines of, "Oh shit, we're all still here. Carry on, I guess."
Just saying. LOL.
We have a beautiful holiday season as well as a brand new year upcoming. I would have to say that the year 2010 was a great year for me. In my view, the year 2012 has been a year of challenges, good times, bad times, weird times, some devastation and some victories here and there. Kind of a seesaw battle of fortune, if you will. Beyond the holidays as well as the new year celebration, which is sure to confound the Mayan-minded pinheads who have foolishly predicted our world's demise to come this year, what will 2013 bring? What do you hope to see in 2013? Is there anything you want to see happen differently?
Yours truly would like to make something cool and perhaps even different happen in the new year to change the dynamic and momentum of the last two years. What might that be exactly? A book? A new website? A business or two? A new lifestyle or a new way of life? We shall see. At this point, it's sufficient enough to say that I have no intentions of settling for the status quo three years in a row. It's boring and lacks progress. Change is on the way. Methodically, I intend to put my foot forward by making changes and taking the necessary actions to keep moving up and fulfilling what is humanly possible.
More to come soon!
